Filewrite from more than one machine

Hi,

I want to create an agent and the logs will be written in a dat file say (logs.dat) on a shared folder. I fear when more than one machine writes on the dat at the same moment (same millisecond), one of them may not be written.

I know I can use different log files named with machine names to avoid this conflict. But just want to know if there is possibility to use a single log file for all machines.
