LiteX

3 posts in this topic

Hi All,

I'm reading the threads pertaining to SQLite and am running across references to "LiteX". Google / forum searches do not produce anything specific (just references to it).

Can someone point me to some doc on this, please?

Thanks,

kylomas

LiteX is (I even think it _was_) a proprietary COM implementation of SQLite made by PTrex long ago and AFAIK long before the SQLite UDF was created.

I believe it's now unmaintained and relies on an outdated SQLite version.

I recommend using the SQLite3.au3 UDF instead and downloading the Windows build of latest SQLite (sqlite3.dll, sqlite3.exe, documentation, analyse.exe) from the SQLite website.

Those who insist on using an ODBC driver can download one here, which is well supported and free of charge.

This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available). An absolute must have in your bookmarks.
Another excellent RegExp tutorial. Don't forget downloading your copy of up-to-date pcretest.exe and pcregrep.exe here

PCRE v8.33 regexp documentation latest available release and currently implemented in AutoIt beta.

SQLitespeed is another feature-rich premier SQLite manager (includes import/export). Well worth a try.
SQLite Expert (freeware Personal Edition or payware Pro version) is a very useful SQLite database manager.
An excellent eBook covering almost every aspect of SQLite3: a must-read for anyone doing serious work.

SQLite official website with full documentation (may be newer than the SQLite library that comes standard with AutoIt)
