Remove 3rd party Tray Icons

3 posts in this topic

I found this

But the problem is the icon I want to hide does not have a caption. I've tried getting info from it with various methods, but none returns a usable name for this particular icon.

_GUICtrlToolbar_GetButtonText

_GUICtrlToolbar_GetButtonInfo

_GUICtrlToolbar_GetButtonInfoEx

etc

Is there a way I can see what hWnd is linked to the icon's handle? Or see the process name that owns the tray icons?

Lope,

Take a look at wraithdu's SysTray UDF - it should give you enough information on what is in the systray to identify your icon. :)
