Currently i am sending a message to my callback func from dll file, it should receive this message and process it even if i currently have functions in my au3 script still working like for example i have a function that has

while 1

sleep(1000)

wend

My callback should process messages even if this is the case, i know it is possible just no idea how to do this.

marko29,

You could start by reading the Interrupting a running function tutorial in the Wiki. That will give you some ideas. :)

The thing is that there is bunch of iterations and the while loop needs to wait for callback to set specific variable, its all connected together so if i break/interrupt function everything will fall apart.

What i am doing is waiting for message that is registered to specific function(guiregistermsg), dll sends it but it seems while loop needs to end before it can be called. I made this whole setup with dsbclass lib but it stops receiving messages all of sudden, so i am trying to implement my own thing.
