RUN not hidden despite "@SW_HIDE" ...

2 posts in this topic

I try to open the Printers Folders with the following line :

Run("RUNDLL32 SHELL32.DLL,SHHelpShortcuts_RunDLL PrintersFolder", "",@SW_HIDE)

It works well BUT ... the @SW_HIDE parameter is not taken in account ...

@SW_MINIMIZE and @SW_MAXIMIZE don't work properly either ...

any way to correct this behavior ?

Thanks.

Run("RUNDLL32 SHELL32.DLL,SHHelpShortcuts_RunDLL PrintersFolder", "",@SW_HIDE)
WinWaitActive("Printers and Faxes","")
WinSetState("Printers and Faxes","",@SW_HIDE)

MsgBox(0,"","")
; just to let you see that it has been hidden

WinSetState("Printers and Faxes","",@SW_SHOW)
;just to let you close the window during this test snippet of code
You might still get a flash of that window, but it is all that I could think of as a work around...
