Multi String RegEdit

Recommended Posts

If I am asking a series of questions that will edit the same Multi String Registry setting how can I append to the multi string value without overwriting what is currently there for instance:

What you like number 1 to start?

if yes then add to registry...regwrite command

if no do not add

What you like number 2 to start?

if yes then append to same registry as above without overwriting... regwrite command

if no do not add

Eagle710,

append to same registry as above without overwriting... regwrite command

Just read the registry value that currently exists, add the new value to it and rewrite the entire string to the registry. :)

Is there an easy way to see if 1 or 2, or both 1 and 2 or neither 1 nor 2 were selected and than write the registry?

$msgbox1 = msgbox(4, '' , 'Do you Want Option 1?')
$msgbox2 = msgbox(4, '' , 'Do you Want Option 2?')

If $msgbox1 = 6 And $msgbox2 = 6 Then
    msgbox (0, '' , 'Both 1 and 2 were Selected')
    Elseif $msgbox1 = 6 And $msgbox2 = 7 Then
    msgbox (0, '' , 'Only Option 1 was selected')
        Elseif $msgbox1 = 7 And $msgbox2 = 6 Then
    msgbox (0, '' , 'Only Option 2 was selected')
            Else
