What Now?

Ok, this is how I want to play it:

1. Leave au3 alone for the next 1 or maybe 2 weeks to give everyone a rest, to let me get the code for AutoItX done and so I don't have to worry about wrecking anyones work if I need to quickly fix any bugs. So DO NOT GO MAD WITH THE DEBUG/NEW FEATURES B)

2. As above, AutoItX to be coded, I'll then need help with the documentation/testing of that all over again (arrghhhh)

3. Do any "simple" new requests that come in and to add all the stuff we've been putting off like the debug code.

And repeat.

Two ideas:

1. Continue keeping track of misc help file "bugs." The ControlCommand and WinMenuSelectItem functions could be expanded.

2. Gather more UDFs? Things like binary search, quicksort for arrays, etc. and shameless plug for some misc Window-, String-, Color-related UDFs that weren't included

P.S. It's lather, rinse, repeat.

I posted my sorts in the Yahoo forum files section. I wouldn't object if they found their way into the distribution. For Repeat, I am thinking more along the lines of "Repeat the sounding joy..."

That's a rel nice plan you have. Has anyone realized what is going to start happening in the AU3 forums in the next couple of days, It's starting already.

Case scenario #1

I copied everything from my AUT file into a new AU3 file and it won't run therefore you must have a bug because it used to work

Case Scenario #2

This is a neat program   How do you use it?

Case scenario #3

  :lmao:  :P  ad nauseum

By two weeks from now everyone could be saying "What hath Jon wrought?"

Maybe I need a holiday too.

Question about decompiling code? Read the decompiling FAQ and don't bother posting the question in the forums.

Thats until people start catching on to how advanced you can really get it with AutoIt, then the questions will become harder again.

Then it will be time for AutoIt v4
