Recommended Posts

Hi,

this is my very simple GUI Code:

#include <ButtonConstants.au3>

#include <EditConstants.au3>

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>

#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

#Region ### START Koda GUI section ### Form=

$Form2 = GUICreate("GTS Setup", 665, 321, 2108, 339)

$GroupBox1 = GUICtrlCreateGroup("", 16, -15, 665, 353)

$Input1 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 47, 133, 329, 21)

$Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Version ( Vxx.xx.xx )", 390, 132, 155, 25)

$Button2 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Run Test", 80, 220, 299, 73)

GUICtrlSetFont(-1, 28, 400, 0, "Arial")

GUICtrlCreateGroup("", -99, -99, 1, 1)

GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)

#EndRegion ### END Koda GUI section ###

While 1

$nMsg = GUIGetMsg()

Switch $nMsg

Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE

Exit

Case $Button2

MsgBox(0,"",$Input1)

EndSwitch

WEnd

Test-Steps: 1) Enter the Version in the Field of "Version ( Vxx.xx.xx )"

2) Click on "Rum Test"

3) Show in MsgBox the value of Input1 (the given version)

how can i do this one?

marshallprank,

You are displaying the ControlID of the Input - you need to use GUICtrlRead to get the content of the Input: :)

MsgBox(0, "", GUICtrlRead($Input1))

M23

P.S. When you post code please use Code tags. Put [autoit] before and [/autoit] after your posted code. :)
