rot Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Hi all, I need to be able to test the files' properties of all the files in a directory. Looping into the directory to get the files is not an issue. But I can't find a function in Autoit that returns the file's properties (author, summary, ...). Does anyone know which function can help me out of this maze? Thanks a lot for your answer ... rot

However accessing the file properties using a VB script is an option I will look into if i can't find any more "native" function in Autoit; it'll be a good training for the 2012 Scripting Games . Thanks for the information. So I was wondering if anyone knows another method to access these file properties ...
