VelvetElvis Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 I wanted to have a look at Gary Frost's "Win32 API Constants (Skinnable)"http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.php?automodule=downloads&showfile=17But at the top of the page is a banner warning:"This file has been reported as broken because: File APIConstants.exe infected by 'Trojan.Win32.Midgare.qqw' !!!"Does anyone know anywhere else I can download this?
Developers Jos Posted June 2, 2011 Developers Posted June 2, 2011 The ZIP file contains an compiled AU3Script that likely was detected by this members AV as false positive but he elected to report it. I am not getting any AV warnings after downloading it and scanning. rover Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 There's nothing wrong with that file. It passes my Avast! scan. I have used this for years. probably because of the skincrafter dll or upx compression. the 'usual suspects' for false positives report this as infected... see the virus total site http://www.virustotal.com I see fascists...

I thought it was safe, but I was getting a virus warning. I thought it was coming from the AutoIt server, but it must be my corporate proxy that generated it.I'll download it from home, where I have control over the virus scanner.
