Outlook Contact Info into Word

3 posts in this topic

I need some help trying to make a program that will take the contact info from outlook and put it into a word templete. I am working with outlook 2003. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The problem I am having is having autoit tell which window is the outlook contact, because with every new contact, the title is different.

One way would be to use something like this:

$WinList = WinList()

For $I = 1 To $WinList[0][0]
   If (StringInStr($WinList[$I][0], "- Contact")) Then
      $myWindow = $WinList[$I][1]
      Msgbox(0,"Title", $WinList[$I][0])
   EndIf
Next

knowing that "- Contact" is always in the title string (or " Properties" if it is Exchange contact list). It loops through all windows searching for the match.. then stores the window handle in $mywindow.
