lostbit Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 I am trying to save a file using one line with a directory path followed by the value of a variable. Below is a section of code that works using two send commands I want to remove Send($ctime) and add this into the Send("C:\Users\Harry\Music\find music\a\") line of code. $ctime = @MIN;@MSEC Sleep(2000) ;MsgBox(0,"timestamp", $ctime, 3) Sleep(2000) ;attempt point saved file to a directory Send("C:\Users\Harry\Music\find music\a\") Send($ctime) Sleep(500)
Moderators Melba23 Posted June 21, 2011 Moderators Posted June 21, 2011 lostbit, If I understand you correctly, you just need to concatenate the two parts: Send("C:\Users\Harry\Music\find music\a\" & $ctime) M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area
somdcomputerguy Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Lookup concatenation in the Helpfile. Here is the line - Send("C:\Users\Harry\Music\find music\a\" & $ctime) - Bruce /*somdcomputerguy */ If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
