Need help using send with path and value of a varable

6 posts in this topic

I am trying to save a file using one line with a directory path followed by the value of a variable.

Below is a section of code that works using two send commands I want to remove Send($ctime) and add this into

the Send("C:\Users\Harry\Music\find music\a\") line of code.

$ctime = @MIN;@MSEC

Sleep(2000)

;MsgBox(0,"timestamp", $ctime, 3)

Sleep(2000)

;attempt point saved file to a directory

Send("C:\Users\Harry\Music\find music\a\")

Send($ctime)

Sleep(500)

lostbit,

If I understand you correctly, you just need to concatenate the two parts: :huh2:

Send("C:\Users\Harry\Music\find music\a\" & $ctime)

Lookup concatenation in the Helpfile. Here is the line - Send("C:\Users\Harry\Music\find music\a\" & $ctime)

- Bruce /*somdcomputerguy */  If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
