Moderators Melba23 Posted July 6, 2011 Moderators Share Posted July 6, 2011 Thatgood,Welcome to the AutoIt forum. What you want to do is very simple:- Create a GUI with an edit control (the first example for GUICtrlCreateEdit in the Help file shows you how)- Once you have entered the text you wish, use GUICtrlRead to get it into a string.- Split the string into the separate lines using StringSplit- Loop through the resulting array and use FileWrite to write each line to a file.Give it a go and see how you get on - you know where we are if you run into difficulties. Thatgood
Thank you Melba23! But I have one more question. Example: I build 2 edit control to input Edit 1: gift 1 gift 2 gift 3 gift 4 Edit 2: Michanel John Mary Melba23 When I do as you suggest, can autoit do with same line by 2 edit control? That Gift 1 is for Michanel, Gift 2 is for John... and Gift 4 is for you
ahmet
Before writing to a file split second edit's control content and while writing to the file just add the corresponding values together.
