Reading IE sourcecode

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to read the sourcecode of a web page. When I view the source in IE8 og Chrome I can see the source code.

If I use _IEDocReadHTML or _IEBodyReadHTML I get the sourcecode without data.

Show source in IE8:

<script type="text/javascript" language="Javascript">

"N 2011-07-12 00:00:07",

<script type=text/javascript>

function portlet_onloadhandler() {

setFocus("pengwineljournalview", document.pengwineljournalform);

It is common to be fooled by Frames. Suggest using a tool like DebugBar to help you.

Free Internet Tools: DebugBar, AutoIt IE Builder, HTTP UDF, MODIV2, IE Developer Toolbar, IEDocMon, Fiddler, HTML Validator, WGet, curl

MSDN docs: InternetExplorer Object, Document Object, Overviews and Tutorials, DHTML Objects, DHTML Events, WinHttpRequest, XmlHttpRequest, Cross-Frame Scripting, Office object model

IE.au3 issues with Vista - Workarounds

SciTe Debug mode - it's magic: #AutoIt3Wrapper_run_debug_mode=Y Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?

Reproducer: a small (the smallest?) piece of stand-alone code that demonstrates your trouble

@novblog: I'm writing a script to check 107 ATM-logs and the url is the same for every log - so I can't use _INetGetSource. The content is displayed after submitting ATM-number and date range.
