Syntax Error in Func call

Recommended Posts

I have to admit I'm new to Func and EndFunc, so it shouldn't suprise anyone that I can't figure out why I am getting an error on an include file (file.au3).

Sometimes an extra pair of eyes helps, especially if they know what to look for.

Could you please take a look at the attached script and see what I am missing?

#include's should ALWAYS be in your script at the top of the script, not in the middle of them. When you use an include statement, it adds the file's contents at the position in which you have put the #include statement. So basically what you've done is add the entire contents of the File.au3 file in the middle of your script. Plus, you should only use the #include statement for a specific UDF once, normally they will have an #include-once statement in them so that you can't add them more than once, but it's good practice to never add a UDF more than once.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
