Copy text from webpage to .ini or .txt file and work with those information

Recommended Posts

Hello all

I am new in this forum and I am sorry if there is already a topic like this.

So here is my problem:

I want to write a tool with wihch you can save a few server from modernwarfare2 as favourites. so that you click on the button and then you connect

to the server u saved previously on that button. I have written it that far that you can copy the server ip and set it to the server button.

But the problem is that the ip changes sometimes, so that its not possible anymore to connect to the server.

Now i am searching for a way to update the ip automatically.

I've tried to copy the entire text of the page from which you get all the server IPs to a txt-file and then read the ServerIP u set as favourite server.

But NOTHING i tried worked and i was looking for that about serveral days.

I am happy about any idea how i could solve that problem

already thanks to those who will try to help me

You can not ask about anything game related in these forums so you will have to work it out yourself.

Or see the IE functions in the User Defined Functions section of the help file.
