Deal with the conversation box inside of an app

Recommended Posts

I am writing a script to handle the tightVNC server. Currently, I can activate it, but I can't provide any password to the next conversation box. I expect my code to pass the password into that particular box. The following is what I have so far, but I know it is not right.

Run("C:\Program Files\TightVNC\tvnserver.exe");

$handle = WinGetHandle("[ACTIVE]");

ControlSend($handle, "", "Edit", "ok");

I also think I probably need to use some of the window info and function from autoit to make it work. Any idea?

Try Edit1 instead of just Edit.

I tried it, but it doesn't work. Maybe I should not have use ControlSend($handle, "", "Edit1", "ok"). Is it possible to use the Winwaitrun() for a conversation box with the TightVNC?
