IE9 + _IEPropertyGet ( $wallTextArea, "screenx")

2 posts in this topic

Hi all,

I'm using this method to click on some object on screen:

$screeunX=_IEPropertyGet ( $wallTextArea, "screenx")
$screeunY=_IEPropertyGet ( $wallTextArea, "screeny")

Opt("WinTitleMatchMode", 2)
WinActivate($windowTitle)
WinSetState($windowTitle, "", @SW_RESTORE)

MouseClick("primary",$screeunX,$screeunY,1,0)

and this completely stopped working in IE9

(the $wallTextArea is supposed to be an IE object I'm getting using "$oInputs = _IETagNameGetCollection ($oIE, $tagName)" etc...)

any idea how to get this working again?

I can post a complete code sample if required but I'm guessing IE9 have had some changes?

Thanks!

I believe you'll find this problem addressed in the latest beta. Many of the issues with IE9 are fixed in the current beta, more should be fixed in future releases.
