stop/start script with another script

I was looking for something like this myself a while back but found nothing,

The only thing i could think of was to make 1 script wait for a given file to appear/disapear, and the other script to create/delete said file (like a text file or something)

similarly you could do this with just writing a line in a text file which the other script reads, but lets face it this is a messy way to do this.

hope someone comes up with a better way because then i can finish that old project!

Sorry couldnt be more help

Boblinski & sebgg,

Search the forum for "inter script communication" - there are plenty of examples out there. ;)

My personal favourite is trancexx's MailSlot UDF. :graduated:
