Best way to hide/encrypt source code?

what are the options for hiding/encrypting source codes of my exes?

i'm using upx for packing but i think it's not crytping the code.

obfuscating is useless too bc there are deobfuscator around internet.

so what should i do?

yeap. and i'm not looking for a fail proof way to protect my code.

i'm looking for at least some basic protection from lamers?

How safe is this function to store passwords? And what is the maximum level to use?

note: i searched this time, both forums and help files. nothing came out.
