Zedna Posted October 13, 2011 Share Posted October 13, 2011 (edited) It's probably bug of Autoit because when I pass bad (higher) number of values to GUICtrlCreateListViewItem() then ListView item is created OK but folowing GUICtrlSetColor() results in bad item colors. Here is reproducing example: expandcollapse popup#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <WindowsConstants.au3> #include <GuiListView.au3> GUICreate("listview items", 800, 250, 100, 200) ; correct values (all colors OK) $listview1 = GUICtrlCreateListView("col1 |col2|col3 ", 10, 10, 200, 150) GUICtrlCreateListViewItem("item1|col12|0xff0000", $listview1) GUICtrlSetColor(-1, '0xff0000') GUICtrlCreateListViewItem("item2|col22|0x00ff00", $listview1) GUICtrlSetColor(-1, '0x00ff00') GUICtrlCreateListViewItem("item3|col32|0x0000ff", $listview1) GUICtrlSetColor(-1, '0x0000ff') GUICtrlCreateListViewItem("item4|col422|0x000000", $listview1) GUICtrlSetColor(-1, '0x000000') ; one value incorrect (all colors bad) $listview2 = GUICtrlCreateListView("col1 |col2|col3 ", 250, 10, 200, 150) GUICtrlCreateListViewItem("item1|col12|0xff0000", $listview2) GUICtrlSetColor(-1, '0xff0000') ;GUICtrlCreateListViewItem("item2|col22|0x00ff00", $listview2) GUICtrlCreateListViewItem("item2|col22|0x00ff00|xyz", $listview2) ; last value incorrect GUICtrlSetColor(-1, '0x00ff00') GUICtrlCreateListViewItem("item3|col32|0x0000ff", $listview2) GUICtrlSetColor(-1, '0x0000ff') GUICtrlCreateListViewItem("item4|col422|0x000000", $listview2) GUICtrlSetColor(-1, '0x000000') ; all values incorrect (all colors bad black) $listview3 = GUICtrlCreateListView("col1 |col2|col3 ", 520, 10, 200, 150) GUICtrlCreateListViewItem("item1|col12|0xff0000|xyz", $listview3) ; last value incorrect GUICtrlSetColor(-1, '0xff0000') GUICtrlCreateListViewItem("item2|col22|0x00ff00|xyz", $listview3) ; last value incorrect GUICtrlSetColor(-1, '0x00ff00') GUICtrlCreateListViewItem("item3|col32|0x0000ff|xyz", $listview3) ; last value incorrect GUICtrlSetColor(-1, '0x0000ff') GUICtrlCreateListViewItem("item4|col422|0x000000|xyz", $listview3) ; last value incorrect GUICtrlSetColor(-1, '0x000000') GUISetState() Do $msg = GUIGetMsg() Until $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Edited October 13, 2011 by Zedna Resources UDF ResourcesEx UDF AutoIt Forum Search Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Moderators Melba23 Posted October 13, 2011 Moderators Share Posted October 13, 2011 Zedna, If you check the return value from the "incorrect" GUICtrlCreateListViewItem line, you get "0" so it is little surprise the GUICtrlSetColor(-1, ...) does not work. I seem to remember a recent thread about having too much data in a GUICtrlCreateListViewItem line for the available columns which included a typically pithy comment from Valik - but I cannot find it at present.
