triodz
Hi, been playing around with this for a month or 2 so still quite new. I was trying to run this line: Run("c:\folder1\folder2\import.bat", @SW_HIDE) The batch file is a simple scheduled task import. If I run it as it is, it does not work at all - the task is not imported. If I REMOVE "@SW_HIDE" it works exactly as it should. WTH? I need the cmd window to not pop up as is requested by "the man". Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. This is one of the last things I need to do and I can close the chapter on this script, then send it to hell where it belongs. Can you tell I'm a little over it? Might I also say that my lurking presence here has gleaned so much awesome info from this forum! I don't like to ask for help generally, but rather find the answer on my own. In this case, though, my agitation has won over. Thanks in advance, fine gentlemen. BrewManNH
Look at the parameters for the Run command, you have the @SW_HIDE in the Working Directory parameter. If you are going to use an optional parameter, you need to include all of the other optional parameters, that are in sequence before it, before you can use it. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
