czmaster
Hello, I use RegExp to extract data from HTML code. Example of HTML code: ...text123... I want to extract everything between and the first with StringRegExp, in my examle "text123" . I know this Pattern "([^<]*)" to say extract any character between "" and the first "<" but I don't know how to extract everything between "" and the first "" (every string but not ). Does this pattern exist or do you have other solution ? Thank you. PS : I don't want to use StingInStr and StringMid for many raisons Edited October 22, 2011 by czmaster
Moderators Melba23 Posted October 22, 2011 Moderators Share Posted October 22, 2011 czmaster,Try this: $sText = "...text123..." $aRet = StringRegExp($sText, "(?U)(.*)<\/a>", 3) MsgBox(0, "Return", $aRet[0])The (?U) makes the SRE look for the smallest match rather then the largest.
