jchd Posted November 6, 2011 Share Posted November 6, 2011 There is no such thing as an "AutoIt process". Every launched program is assigned a PID, be it written in AutoIt or whatever. When a process ends, it definitely terminates and every resources it used is freed. If you launch myscript.exe you can see it in TM as long as the process is running, but no longer. Malware code hiding itself set apart, no normal processes leave live parts after termination. Do you have an example script that demonstrate weird behavior in this respect? This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available). An absolute must have in your bookmarks.Another excellent RegExp tutorial. You need to make sure that the script does not terminate before all keys being held down have been released. If the program terminates unexpectedly, this can also result in keys being held down indefinately. You should also unregister all hotkeys before exiting the script.
