AutoIT to exit on Excel Formula Error

Recommended Posts

I would like the autoit script to exit if I get a "Formula Error" window. I've attempted the following but it doesn't close the script when the error is present.

If WinExists("Formula Error","") Then
MsgBox(0, "Please correct the Excel Formula Error before running this import!")
Exit
EndIf

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Jadog,

Perhaps the "Formula Error" dialog title is not visible to AutoIt. Use the Window Info tool to get some more detail about the dialog - you might well be to identify it using other identifiers. Post what you get here and we can offer some other options. :D

Jadog, are you mixing up your posts?? This example looks like it belongs in the thread you have going over in the GUI Help Forum:
