Jochem
Is there a way to selct from a view instead of a table. Within sqlite expert its not a problem, but with a _sqlite_exec it seems to be impossible: this doesn`t work _SQLite_GetTable(-1, "SELECT * FROM viewname;", $aResult, $iRows, $iColumns) but this does work in sqlite expert SELECT * FROM viewname; SOLVED allready it was something in my script.... jchd
Yes you can as you've discovered. A view in SQLite is nothing more than a registered SELECT which is run on demand. So when you do "SELECT * FROM myview;" with myview defined as "SELECT a, b, c FROM mytable;" you are in fact issuing "SELECT * FROM (SELECT a, b, c FROM mytable);". Hence no noticeable difference. This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available).
