How do I change the buttons and checkboxes "Enabled" status, and how do I modify the text of a label?

megablox,

You use GUICtrlSetState to change the status of Checkbox controls - I do not understand what you mean by changing the state of a button.

You use GUICtrlSetData to modify the text of a label.

These are very basic questions. You should read the Help file (at least the first few sections - Using AutoIt, Tutorials and the first couple of References) as this will help you enormously. You should also look at the excellent tutorials that you will find here and here - you will find other tutorials in the Wiki (the link is at the top of the page).

I know you want to start coding NOW, but a little study will save you a lot of trouble later on, believe me. :)

Okay, thanks. I always check the help file before, anyways. Fact is I "skim-search" so I don't lose time, so I ask here :)

megablox,

Fact is I "skim-search" so I don't lose time, so I ask here

Which is a sure and certain way to annoy those who help out here and means that after a while your posts will not get any replies from experienced coders. Start using the Help file and look at the posts on this forum to learn the language - it is much more satisfying to do something yourself. :)
