Before I start, this is my first script so be kind. This script saves me a lot of effort when trying to watch SkyGo from my HTPC and hopefully it will help someone else. There are a few things that you need to know before using the script:

  • The script is only tested on my (English) windows XP pc so you may need to tweak it to get it to work on your setup.
  • The script runs Internet Explorer as a specific user, which is probably over kill for most people.
  • I have removed the usernames and passwords so you will need to insert your own.
  • Sky have recently added some optional security questions, which I have skipped for simplicity - if they become compulsory the script will stop working.
  • I am new to AutoIt so if you spot a better way of doing something please feel free to add constructive criticism.

nigelhooper,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :)

You seem to have missed the Forum Rules on your way in - perhaps you could read them now, especially the bit that says:

"Do not discuss any of the following:

[...]

◦SPAM tools including instant messenger or forum auto-posters. This includes forum or site auto-login methods."

Please do not take this personally - I am sure you can see why we do not encourage publication of this sort of code. Why make it easy for those script-illiterate idiots who want to use automated logons to wreak havok on various sites? :D

Anyway, I look forward to seeing more of your (legitimate :)) scripts and questions on the forum in the future. ;)
