AHRIMANSEFID,

Help For Fixed

What is wrong with the script at the moment? It is difficult to debug something when you do not know what is going wrong. ;)

Import Reg Or SN

Are you asking someone to provide you with a valid registration or serial number? :)

What you are looking for is a function called RegWrite. The easiest way to figure out RegWrite entries is this thread:

On the script in the first post, you will need to comment out lines 234 and 270 (put a semicolon at the beginning of those lines).

As for the registry entry, you will have to locate the serial number on your system using regedit. Export the key as a Win9x/NT 4 Registration Files type. If you export it any other way, it won't work with the reg2au3 script.

Finally, run the reg2au3 script and point to the registry entry that you exported.

#include <ByteMe.au3>

@AHRIMANSEFID

Your error message is telling you that AU3RecordSetup isn't found, that's because your function name starts with an underscore (_AU3RecordSetup) you need to fix that line in the script to point to the correct function name.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.

Back up and restore Windows user files _Array.au3 - Modified array functions that include support for 2D arrays.  -  ColorChooser - An add-on for SciTE that pops up a color dialog so you can select and paste a color code into a script.  -  Customizable Splashscreen GUI w/Progress Bar - Create a custom "splash screen" GUI with a progress bar and custom label.  -  _FileGetProperty - Retrieve the properties of a file  -  SciTE Toolbar - A toolbar demo for use with the SciTE editor  -  GUIRegisterMsg demo - Demo script to show how to use the Windows messages to interact with controls and your GUI.  -   Latin Square password generator

Actually I've just had the same problem. As JLogan3o13 said here:

http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/136383-au3recordexe-error-unknown-function-name/page__view__findpost__p__955094

The code:

...

AU3RecordSetup()

#endregion --- Internal functions Au3Recorder End ---

...

should be correct as:

...

_AU3RecordSetup()

#endregion --- Internal functions Au3Recorder End ---

...

The problem's solved.

However, you should change some code in your script without MouseClick... to easy control. See my example:

#region ---Au3Recorder generated code Start (v3.3.7.0)  ---
#region --- Internal functions Au3Recorder Start ---
Func _Au3RecordSetup()
Opt('WinWaitDelay',100)
Opt('WinDetectHiddenText',1)
Opt('MouseCoordMode',0)
EndFunc
Func _WinWaitActivate($title,$text,$timeout=0)
WinWait($title,$text,$timeout)
If Not WinActive($title,$text) Then WinActivate($title,$text)
WinWaitActive($title,$text,$timeout)
EndFunc
_AU3RecordSetup()
#endregion --- Internal functions Au3Recorder End ---

Run('D:SetupOffice ToolsTeXLyXInstaller.exe')
_WinWaitActivate("LyX 2.0.2-1 Setup","")
Send("{ALTDOWN}n{ALTUP}")
_WinWaitActivate("LyX 2.0.2-1 Setup ","")
Send("{ALTDOWN}a{ALTUP}{ALTDOWN}n{ALTUP}")
_WinWaitActivate("LyX 2.0.2-1 Setup","")
Send("{TAB}{TAB}{TAB}{TAB}D:PortableMiKTeXmiktexbin{ALTDOWN}n{ALTUP}{ENTER}")
_WinWaitActivate("Program Manager","")
_WinWaitActivate("LyX 2.0.2-1 Setup","")
_WinWaitActivate("LyX 2.0.2-1 Setup ","")
Send("D:PortableLyX{ALTDOWN}i{ALTUP}")
_WinWaitActivate("LyX 2.0.2-1 Setup ","Completing the LyX 2")
Send("{ALTDOWN}f{ALTUP}")
#endregion --- Au3Recorder generated code End ---
