Fetch tooltip

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am new to AutoIt.com

I am looking for a code which could allow me to fetch the text of tooltip.

This is a software based help request, VB/VB.net/C#, any programming language will do for me, All i want is to fetch the tooltip when i mouse over on any object in any window, basically i want each and every tooltip my mouse pointer shows me on screen.

Could anyone please help me out in this? its really urgent .

thanks a lot in advance...

sonalidave13,

So you arrive on a new forum, ask if someone will write some code for you in "VB/VB.net/C#, any programming language will do for me" - not even mentioning AutoIt, for which this is the support forum - and also hijack an existing thread to ask the same question. Not a good start. :)

Let me explain how it works here. You make some attempt to write a script in AutoIt - if you run into problems you post the code you have tried and we will help you to get it to work. We do NOT provide code in other languages - and unless you are really lucky, we do NOT provide ready-made AutoIt scripts either. ;)

So I suggest you reset your ideas of what this forum is about and start all over again with a sensible request showing that you have at least tried to make some effort to solve your problem by yourself using AutoIt. ;)

P.S. Stating that "its really urgent" never works - it might be to you, but it is not to anyone else. :)
