Mechaflash
I used Koda to generate my GUI, and I have included a checkbox. The code generates a Case for this checkbox (which I assume case activates if checkbox is selected). How do I go about creating a rule if checkbox is de-selected in my Case? My sample below sets a variable to process later in my script. I want to reverse the Case if checkbox is de-selected, I want it to return $showInput = "FALSE" While 1 $nMsg = GUIGetMsg() Switch $nMsg Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit Case $Form1 Case $Label1 Case $Button1 processCheck() Case $Button2 LOCAL $confirmExit $confirmExit = msgbox(292, "Confirm Exit...", "Do you want to exit this program?") If $confirmExit = 6 Then Exit EndIf Case $Checkbox1 GLOBAL $showInput $showInput = "TRUE" EndSwitch WEnd Spoiler “Hello, ladies, look at your man, now back to me, now back at your man, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped using ladies scented body wash and switched to Old Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re on a boat with the man your man could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an oyster with two tickets to that thing you love. Look again, the tickets are now diamonds. Anything is possible when your man smells like Old Spice and not a lady. I’m on a horse.”
BrewManNH
You can use "$showInput= Not $showInput" to toggle it between True and False every time the check box is clicked. Also, move the Global $showInput outside of the While loop, you only need to declare it once, and you should set the value of it outside the loop to either True or False so that the checkbox acts on it properly. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. Mechaflash
@BrewManNH ahh you're right about the variable. I set that LOCAL variable inside the case, so I think I had done it automatically without thinking. Spoiler “Hello, ladies, look at your man, now back to me, now back at your man, now back to me. Mechaflash
Gah it wouldn't let me edit my previous post. It works perfectly. Thanks for the assistance.
