mystery with "If ... EndIf"

Recommended Posts

HI!

My project consists of several files.

In file lib.au3 described variables of the project:

; file lib.au3

#Include <WinAPI.au3>

; other variable

In file test.lib.au3 described some logic of the project:

; file test.lib.au3

If NOT IsDeclared ( "my_var" ) Then

#include "lib.au3"

EndIf

When executed test.lib.au3 I have error:

>"C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\SciTE\..\autoit3.exe" /ErrorStdOut "C:\scripts\test.lib.au3"

C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\Include\WinAPIError.au3 (29) : ==> "If" statement has no matching "EndIf" statement.:

Func _WinAPI_GetLastError($curErr = @error, $curExt = @extended)

>Exit code: 1 Time: 0.324

but test.lib.au3 without "If .... EndIf":

; file test.lib.au3

#include "lib.au3"

executed without error.

Somebody know what this bug or unknown features?

where did I go wrong?

P.S. sorry for my english

AutoIt doesn't come with a pre-processor: #include directives are processed before then the resulting large source is passed to the compiler.

Hence you just can't make #include conditional.

Use #include-once instead.
