notsure
Hello,I am experiencing some troubles with a with statement..?!However, it works fine on my own PC, but when i try to use the following code on another PC it will crash with the error message:Error: Only Object-type variables allowed in a "With" statment.Anyone has an idea what causes this error to occur? I mean, it works perfectly on my PC. Other PC's tested are same OS (XP) and also tried on a Win7 PC which gives the same problem. I deliberately made a function for "AddToList" (normally the code in that function was within the With-statement but since the error I tried to use (outside)variables in a function outside the statement.) Doesn't work tho. With $TableContents While Not .EOF $Name = .Fields ("Name").value $m_ID = .Fields("m_id").value AddToList() .MoveNext WEnd EndWith func AddToList() if stringleft($Name, stringlen($filter)) = $filter then GUICtrlCreateListViewItem($Name & "|" & $m_ID , $LVsource) endif EndFuncThe other PC's (2x winXP and 1x Win7 also have AutoIT installed, so that shouldn't be the problem either... is it true you cannot use ANY other variable within a WITH statement? Also no function calls? And if so, then why does it work on my PC?Confused....Using MySQL.au3 UDF Edited March 22, 2012 by notsure
