#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
Dim $pic, $msg
GUICreate("My picture", 350, 300, -1, -1, $WS_SIZEBOX + $WS_SYSMENU)  ; will create a dialog box that when displayed is centered
$pic = GUICtrlCreatePic("0.gif", 50, 50, 200, 200)
GUISetBkColor(0xE0FFFF)
GUISetState()

tommytx,

Have you seen a memory increase with your current code? As far as I know you do not need to "erase" the previous image before using GUICtrlSetImage to change the image. :oops:

What I am referring to is that when it runs ... I see the 0 then the 1 with the 0 behind it and then the 2 on top of the others.

Since I can see the images behind each one I assumed they needed to be removed...

Am I missing something...

Edit... is the set image the wrong command to show images in sequence... or is there another command..

It will be a counter like showing a second apart... 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 etc..

You're using GUICtrlSetState and GUICtrlSetImage, you shouldn't do that, just use GUICtrlSetImage and it should work.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

See for your self... I have attached the 5 images. They just pile up one on top of the other. Never seen anything like it... Never happened before...

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
Dim $pic, $msg
GUICreate("My picture", 350, 350, -1, -1, $WS_SIZEBOX + $WS_SYSMENU)
$pic = GUICtrlCreatePic("0.gif", 25, 25, 300, 300)
GUISetBkColor(0xE0FFFF)
GUISetState()
Sleep(2000)
GUICtrlSetImage($pic, "1.gif")
Sleep(2000)
GUICtrlSetImage($pic, "2.gif" )
Sleep(2000)
GUICtrlSetImage($pic, "3.gif")
Sleep(2000)
GUICtrlSetImage($pic, "4.gif" )
While 1
  $msg = GUIGetMsg()
  If $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Then ExitLoop
  WEnd

Edit: Forgot to attach the file.
