2 posts in this topic

Anyone out there already know how to setup native VPN clients within Windows 7? We are trying basic SEND commands to get to the different options however have problmes getting to the "Setup a new connection of network" box within the Network and Sharing Center since options change based on wireleess or bluetooth being enabled. Please let me know if you already have tackled this issue and can assist.

Hi, tjolley. Probably the easiest way to do this is to use the Connection Manager Admin Kit (CMAK). With this, you can create various VPN profiles on a test machine and then bundle the settings into an executable that can be distributed to other systems. If you have some on wireless, some on LAN, etc. etc., you can create one package for each type. Below is a link to a pretty decent walkthrough.
