tsolrm Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I have a script which starts of something like While 1 $msg = GUIGetMsg () Select Case $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit Case $msg = $Clear _GUICtrlListView_DeleteAllItems($ListView1) Case $msg = $Ban etc The problem i am facing is that the GUI doesn't ALWAYS close when the cross is clicked. Sometimes it closes straight away, sometimes after 1-5 seconds and sometimes it doesn't close at all! I've set up a hotkey HotKeySet("{Esc}", "Quit") Func Quit () Exit EndFunc Which closes the script just fine without any delay. So what am i missing, why does this Case $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE not work properly?
BrewManNH Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Most of the time is because the script is inside a function running something long and it takes a while to get back to the message loop. tsolrm 1 If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise.
