Hi, just a quick question -

how can I set a string to anything that is typed? I would like to know how to concatenate it as well.

NewNinga,

Variables are set with an assignment statment, concatenation is done with the "&" operator. A better place for you to start is at page 1 of the help file...

Write some code and ask again if you get stuck.

Good Luck,

NewNinja,

Use an Input control and then GUICtrlGetData to read it. ;)

As to concatenation, didi you think of looking in the Help file? :)

Lol, sorry I did not explain it well enough.

I meant, I wanted it to concatenate x amount of any letter you type to a string whilst the program is running and Melba I did not understand what you suggested :/

That is called a keylogger and is not a subject we discuss here - as you already know as you were looking at this thread a few minutes ago. ;)
