Skitty
This is an embarrassing plea, math isn't my strong point. I need to find the difference in two time stamps. I have 1337370279 and need to determine how many ticks have been ticked since then and now... I'll also take this opportunity to ask if anyone knows about how reliable it is to use msvcrt.dll, this app I'm making will be run a number of random machines and I need to know if there will be occasions where it's not present. $Epoch = DllCall("msvcrt", "int:cdecl", "time", "int", 0) MsgBox(0,"Unix Epoch Time",$Epoch[0])

Skitty
Are you sure it's Unix epoch?No... Not really. I assumed it was because that's what I understood when reading a post that had that function in it some time ago.So I started using that function to keep track of certain elements in a database and now I find that I need to determine the difference in ticks. jchd
Which DB engine do you use? Most offer strftime internal function and that keeps times centralized to the DB. Skitty
Which DB engine do you use?SQLite, I'm using autoit to attache the time stamp to certain elements in a table and using the "SELECT * FROM table ORDER BY time DESC;" to get stuff that was recently updated. jchd
Rather use internal strftime then, choose most suited variant.
