Running scripts in blocking mode

Is it possible to run Autoit scripts from command line while blocking it until the script finishes?

I need this because I'm using Autoit from my own application, and I need it to perform all actions before my application proceeds with execution.

Compile your script as console application and see it in action (by running it from cmd)
