I am looking for a solution to save screen shots periodically from my web browser running a web hosted application to a PC or iPad.

The solution I need is how to save a copy of my software's digital customer wait list every 5 minutes or so in case they lose internet connection. Currently the web hosted application has a digital wait list that is constantly being updated for a restaurant and when they lose internet or power they lose the weight list (they don't know what parties are next). My thought was is there a way a program can run in the background to have the browser (safari, Firefox or IE9) periodically print a screen shot to the tablet or PC. If internet is lost the host staff can access the back up folder with the last wait list screen shots.

fulcrumdesign,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. ;)

What you want to do sounds very simple. You could start by looking at _ScreenCapture_Capture in the Help file - that will get you your screenshots. You will also need something to fire the screenshot: so either a timer (TimerInit/TimerDiff) in a loop (While/WEnd), or perhaps Adlib - the Help file will tell you more. :)

Give it a go and see how you get on - you know where we are if you run into difficulties. :)
