StephenAberle Posted June 13, 2012 Share Posted June 13, 2012 I use the #AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_Fileversion and #AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_FileVersion_AutoIncrement compiler directives and find them very useful. Is there a way that I can determine the AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_FileVersion value at runtime from within the script? I recognize that if I'm running a compiled .EXE I can get the version number by using FileGetVersion(@ScriptFullPath), but I want to be able to find this value whether I'm running script or an EXE. I would think it should be available, since it's sitting right there in the script; I just don't know how to read it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You'd have to manually update this variable every time your script's version is changed. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. There's gotta be a way... I'm going to investigate using the #AutoIt3Wrapper_Run_Before directive together with the %fileversion% variable to store this information somewhere -- an INI file or the Registry or something.
