Without your code it's very difficult to troubleshoot this. If you have labels anywhere near your edit controls, they might be overlapping the controls and blocking you from clicking inside them.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

This script with GUI reads from a .txt file into 4 instances of control edit, there are two buttons "close" that exits, and "save and exist" that sends the content of the 4 instances of control edit to 4 lines in .txt file.

And this is the main script with no gui, it reads 4 lines from a .txt file, so they can be used to send to controls of an application called dota keys.

it also runs a software named auto joiner, and clicks on it's buttons and stuff like

I ran the top script and it works fine for me, I can click in any of the 4 controls without a problem. Win Vista x86

Thank you both and sorry for making multiple topics, it's just that people seem to confuse my script with a game automation script because the software I'm trying to automate is inside a game path directory, but it doesn't interact with the game...

Anyway, I have win7 x64, still doesn't work, but I will try what Zedna said.

Thanks again.
