Strange edit/input box problem

Recommended Posts

Hello there,

I've made a script that sometimes (maybe?) looses focus over edit/input boxes. what it does is that i cant use any of the keys from keyboard that edits in any way the text - keys, numbers, delete, backspace etc. I can still use arrow keys, home, end etc. Sometimes when i press {TAB} it doesn't "sends" tab, but if i hold it down, it sends like 1 tab per 2-3 secs. I dont have any hotkeyset, or adlibs. Sometimes when i try to input something it makes "squares" in the text field. Like alt is held down and you press some combination of numbers. If needed will post source but its about 480+ KB source, plus some input files to make the program work, it goes up to 2-3 megs of rar. It doesnt happens often. I mean i try to "simulate" the exact same "steps" to follow it up and see from where/what that could happen, but it doesnt happens often. Same problem on XP and Win7. Anyone of you had similar problem maybe? Any help/suggestion will be HIGHLY appritiated. Thank you in advance!

p.s.: if anyone can/wants to help me, but needs the source - p.m. me.

Sorry i dont know how to edit my topic above.

So if it helps - when i press {ESC} it DOES NOT exit the gui. I dont have AutoitOption for escape, and as far as i know/saw in the help file, if this option isn't set - the gui must exit, when {ESC} is pressed. I'm trying to provide as much info as i can.

If you want help you need to provide us with a short reproducer script showing the problem - sorry, but no-one is going to plough through 480k+ of code looking for a bug that "sometimes (maybe?)" glitches. :(

You need 5 posts to get "edit" permission - a button appears at bottom right of the post. ;)
