string reg exp replace problem

can someone tell me why my expression is deleting an "A" in the beginning of the name if it is capitol?

#include <String.au3>

;$sName = "Allen"
$sName = "allen"

$result = _StringProper(StringRegExpReplace($sName, "[\A\s\W]", "")) ; strip whitespace from beginning of name and clean special characters

consolewrite($result & @CR)

This is just an educated guess, but putting the "A" inside the set makes "A" a valid character to match. I think that the "A" should be outside the set like this so it matches at the beginning of the string as you want:

#include <String.au3>

$sName = "Allen"
$result = _StringProper(StringRegExpReplace($sName, "A[sW]", "")) ; strip whitespace from beginning of name and clean special characters
ConsoleWrite($result & @CR)

$sName = "allen"
$result = _StringProper(StringRegExpReplace($sName, "A[sW]", "")) ; strip whitespace from beginning of name and clean special characters
ConsoleWrite($result & @CR)

That works for me.
