kor
I'm trying to make an icon into a push button. this is the closest I've got, but I'd like the entire icon to be the button. Not an icon within a button. Local $oControl = GUICtrlCreateCheckbox("", $iLeft, $iTop, $iWidth, $iHeight, BitOR($BS_PUSHLIKE, $BS_ICON, $BS_FLAT)) GUICtrlSetImage($oControl, $sTemp & "\" & $sIcon & ".ico")
BrewManNH
Use the icon by itself with GUICtrlcreateIcon, then you can action off of it by it's control ID just like a button. kor
True, but once the icon has been clicked on and I preform an action.. how would I know if the icon is in the "clicked" state similar to how a push button is pressed or unpressed. BrewManNH
You don't know when it's clicked on, unless it does something when you click on it. There's no visual indication that it's been clicked like a button shows. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. kor
Exactly. Do you have a reccomendation on how to accomplish something similar with it in the same manner that a button control would have a "state" of either checked or unchecked? funkey
Have a look at _GUICtrlButton_SetImageList(). Programming today is a race between software engineers striving tobuild bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universetrying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.
