sbrady Posted October 12, 2012 Share Posted October 12, 2012 I have a folder I want to delete. command #1 below does that, but when I add commands 2-7, then command 1 does nothing why cant I delete the folder, then make a new folder with the same name. ;1 delete desktop folder "Open PM-DAW3" DirRemove ("C:\Documents and Settings\sebrad\Desktop\Open PM-DAW3\",1) ;2 wait for 1 second Sleep (1) ;3 delete desktop folder "Promo AMs" DirRemove ("C:\Documents and Settings\sebrad\Desktop\Promo AMs\",1) ;4 wait for 1 second Sleep (2) ;5 make desktop folder "Open PM-DAW3" DirCreate(@DesktopDir & '\Open PM-DAW3') ;6 wait for 1 second Sleep (1) ;7 make desktop folder "Promo AMs" DirCreate(@DesktopDir & '\Promo AMs') Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BrewManNH Posted October 12, 2012 Share Posted October 12, 2012 Sleep(1) tells it to sleep for 1 ms, although the minimum for sleep is actually 10ms. What is the return on the the DirRemove commands? Are you getting a 0 returned telling you it failed? If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise.
