Chimaera
Ok on the machines we setup at work we always give them a number of free programs to use after a format The one in question is Spybot Search & Destroy We add a shortcut on the desktop to encourage them to use it, but when we update it before they get the machine back, we also immunize the system and we run immunize as admin so i normally end up manually changing this on the shortcut. Is there a way to automate this via registry? Ive just spent several hours searching for this and i cant find much at all Hopefully someone will know If Ive just helped you ... miracles do happen. FireFox
Hi, You can get the shortcut properties, delete it and create a new one. FileCreateShortcut, FileGetShortcut. But there's maybe (for sure?) a better way. Br, FireFox.
