Is it possible to have an alert while building the GUI

Hi Guys

Currently I have hardcoded an element

GUICtrlCreateLabel("String", 10, 112)
$boxd = GUICtrlCreateInput("1,2,3,4", 145, 109, 80, 16)
GUISetState()
 
Global $stringarray = StringSplit(GUICtrlRead($boxd),",",2)
Global $arraysize = UBound($stringarray)

However, once the GUI is loaded I cannot change those elements, well I can but it doesn't change the array I built.

Is there a way to aks a question so I can enter the string BEFORE it gets built?

MsgBox doesn't have anyway of entering text, is there anyway around this.
