GMK
Right now, I'm just activating a window and using the AutoIT Send command to send "{NUMPADSUB}" to a window, but I'd like to use the native COM command to send directly to a PowerTerm Pro object. (I've developed a UDF for PowerTerm Pro, so if anyone has any interest, let me know.) Does anyone know if there's an AutoIT equivalent to vbKeySubtract?Key Code Constants Edited January 14, 2013 by GMK
Moderators Melba23 Posted December 14, 2012 Moderators Share Posted December 14, 2012 GMK,I assume it is 0x6D - that is the key code for the "Subtract" key in all languages. You can see the full list on the Help file page for _IsPressed. GMK
Thanks, M23, but how can I send that keypress through COM? In my case, it would be for a PF4 key in terminal emulator mode. Global $oDoc = ObjCreate("PowerTermPro.Document") $oDoc.ShowApplication Global $oApp = $oDoc.GetApplication $oApp.Send("This works with strings and " & @TAB & @CR & "but I want to send other keys as well.") Solution GMK Posted January 14, 2013 Author Solution Share Posted January 14, 2013 (edited) Well, just in case anyone is curious, I found a way to accomplish what I needed. The VBA help file indicated keystrokes similar to or exactly like AutoIT's send command: {ENTER}, {TAB}, etc. I thought I'd try something else, since it wasn't working, and the command worked with <ENTER>, <PF1>, <PF4>, etc. I don't know if anyone could explain what might cause this, but at least I found a solution for this problem. Now if I can find a solution for looping through and/or attaching to different PowerTerm Pro windows (i.e., objects), I'll be great! I've tried using the beta version of ObjGet, but with no success, but perhaps that's for a different topic. Edited January 14, 2013 by GMK
